Meet The Team

R. Ryan Johansen , DDS

Dr. Johansen is a board-certified pediatric dentist. He graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, in 2001. Following dental school, he completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center.

He has been in private practice since 2003 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. A Utah native, Dr Johansen enjoys doing a wide variety of outdoor activities with his family. Dr. Johansen is married with five children–three sons and two daughters.

Ryab Burt, DDS

In 2012, Dr. Ryan Burt graduated Creighton University and before that, completed his undergraduate studies at BYU with degrees in biology and Japanese. To maintain his advanced education and training, he regularly attends continuing education meetings. He even became board-certified in pediatric dentistry, in which he was trained for two years at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Burt is also a member of the ADA, AAPD and ALD.

Dr. Burt’s goal is to provide quality care for children and allows them to leave knowing they have a caring dentist as well as ensuring parents that their children are getting the best care he can provide. Dr. Burt is married with five kids of his own, too! Outside of the office, he loves camping, hiking, sports and going to sporting events with family.

Travis Hickok, DDS

Dr. Travis Hickok earned his Bachelors of Science degree in medical biology from the University of Utah prior to attending Marquette University for dental school, where he graduated with his dental degree in 2008. He completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Utah, and regularly pursues continuing education and training. He has practiced in the Salt Lake City area for 10 years. As a dentist, Dr. Hickok’s goal is provide each patient he meets with the best experience possible and results that lead to a healthy mouth.

Dr. Hickok and his wife, Rebecca, enjoy traveling the world, being outdoors and spending time with family.
